Jamie Cook - Guitar/Vocals

Jamie Cook learnt his first three chords on the guitar when he was just four years old.

Raised by his parents on a diet of sixties music - and a musical education that encompassed everything from The Beatles and The Hollies to the vocal talents of Stevie Winwood and Joe Cocker - Jamie's formative years were to somehow manage to avoid the 'musical delights' of Rick Astley and Sonia.

By the time he'd left school, he'd begun to develop a remarkable singing voice too, and was soon touring his own band across the UK.

By his early twenties, Jamie was playing clubs and bars in France and Spain, followed by stints on cruise ships and residencies at Haven Holidays!

Having already gained extensive experience on the live circuit, his excellent guitar and vocal skills brought him to the attention of The Overtures, whom he joined in September 2003.
