Steve Phypers - Drums/Backing Vocals.

Formerly of eighties rockers Hard Rain and songsmiths The Green , Steve toured and shared gigs with the likes of The Alarm, Then Jerico and Del Amitri whilst always retaining an interest in the music of the sixties.

Steve also worked in covers bands in the late seventies and early eighties along with ex-Kinks members John 'Nobby' Dalton, John Gosling and ex-Creation guitarist the brilliant Eddie Phillips and acquired a great deal of experience in live performance. The passionate and exciting music of sixties giants like The Who left an indelible impression on Steve's personal approach to his drumming in The Overtures, which is hallmarked with an exuberant energy and animated delivery.

Steve says, "...everyone can take something from sixties music; it was so fertile and inspiring..."
